The goals of the four-day session are to assist participants with:

After attending this workshop, you will be able to:

-        Deepen your understanding of the AP Program and exam expectations;

-        Align your instruction with the goals of the AP Literature course;

-        Identify the skills and knowledge that the exam will assess, and identify the tasks and materials for which students may need more preparation;

-        Draft an AP Literature syllabus that meets the curricular requirements for the course;

-        Make equitable access a guiding principle in designing instruction;

-        Connect with AP Teachers and share “Best Practices” activities; and

-        Work in small groups to develop and refine strategies you will use in your course next year.
